The LUXEON Rebel white LEDs used by Steinel are ideally suited to the XLed, where the requirement is for a bright and compact light source that delivers high efficacy and offers a long operating lifetime. The LUXEON Rebel LEDs used in XLed are robust even in the most demanding operating conditions. XLed is designed to operate at full power for sustained periods and carries a warranty for a 50,000-hour operating lifetime – 45 years at three hours’ use per day.The new OSTAR versions for projection applications expand the performance range at the low and high ends. OSTAR Compact is ideal for pico projector applications, whereas OSTAR Power Projection is designed for applications in high-power projectors such as those in home cinema systems and mobile projection systems.

LED with up to 2200 mcd Luminous Intensity, and is intended for use in small size LCD backlight applications (under 10-inch). These include notebooks, mobile phones, indicators, illuminators, and switch lights. The 62-127 is a top view LED with up to 7200 mcd Luminous Intensity, high flux output, and high current capability for use in large size LCD Monitor/TV, light pipe applications, indicators and backlighting in office and family equipment. Both packages offer wide viewing angles of 120° typcial, and low power consumption in order to equalize the light source and save energy. These SMD LEDs are also used for light guide plate application.
