Cirtek Electronics for helping us on our critical new products

Last July 6, CamSemi awarded Cirtek a plaque of appreciation for helping CamSemi in introducing its new products this year. Camsemi vice president Kim Tey, represented by Cedrin Lee, said the award was given due to “Cirtek’s willingness to go above and beyond, we salute Cirtek Electronics for helping us on our critical new products.”

The company’s chairman, J.C. Liu, pointed out that Zhaga standards are very important to LED light engines and the company’s products conform to Zhaga Book3 standard, which regulates light engine’s mechanism and light uniformity. In addition, the company much stresses Zhaga compliance of its products and hopes to offer lighting-fixture manufacturers optimal solutions and services with Zhaga-complaint engines.

UL Taiwan’s executives said that UL is Zhaga-assigned laboratory and helping Taiwan’s LED lighting industry upgrade competitiveness to international levels through its test and certification services.

Universal Display is expanding its business for OLED materials and the licensing of its patented OLED technologies through this acquisition. “This transaction will almost double Universal Display's patent portfolio,” noted Steven V. Abramson, president and CEO of Universal Display, who called the patent buy and the collaboration with Fujifilm a rare opportunity.
