Dialight has introduced integrated controls for its industry leading LED
lighting fixture portfolio. The patent-pending, smart grid compatible control
package is available in variety of communications protocols. These include
powerline communications (PLC), wireless or DALI platforms and can be manually
configured or accessed utilizing a touch screen wall controller via mobile
devices such as iPhone, iPad, or Android, or from a remote network
computer.Dialight is reinventing the way our customers operate and maintain
their lighting systems while simultaneously improving safety and saving on

controls will save on both energy and maintenance costs, and will allow our

Dialight’s advanced lighting controls system will debut on the company’s
award winning LED High Bay products for industrial and hazardous locations
including UL Class I and II, Div 1, Class I and II, Div 2 as well as ATEX/IECEx
Zone 1 and 2 configurations. Products will ship in Q2-2013 and will be
integrated into additional Dialight fixture families later this year.Using
Dialight’s fully integrated controls, not only can our customers turn individual
or grouped LED light fixtures on and off when required, they can also be dimmed
to required illumination levels, used in conjunction with daylight sensing or
motion detection technologies as well as scheduled with different operating
profiles for various times of the day or week.Through Dialight’s controlled LED
lighting fixtures, intelligent monitoring and reporting will give users the
ability to review lighting and energy consumption statistics via the web or
mobile device apps with high tech advanced security for individual or multiple
facilities. Features include on-demand or scheduled reports and fault management
alerts if an issue is present.
Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-scale grocery retailer in the northeast
United States, recently selected energy-efficient LED lighting by Cree, Inc. to
illuminate its 51,364-square-foot store in Geneva, NY. The store, which opened
in November 2012, features Agent of floodlight lighting the
aisles, specialty departments and pharmacy for an estimated energy savings of 70
percent over the T5 fluorescent lighting that Tops Markets had previously
installed.Tops Markets has always been progressive in designing energy
efficiency into its store. When we heard about the Cree CS18 linear luminaire,
we conducted a test installation in Buffalo and the results were excellent,”
said Dan Jaskza, energy consultant for Tops Markets. “Not only did the Cree LED
lighting product offer us 70 percent energy savings [over the previous T5
fluorescent design] but also improved lighting quality without compromising
lighting levels.”
